Written Poem: The Message – Daniel ThePoet

The Message

A man once lived

He made his verdicts and believed

He aimed meetly for his world

But the people he preferred flamed out in the end

Life in his anticipations were heedfully arranged

In order to enjoy the warm fuzzies he determined

“I want to reach that standard”, he wished

But who is he to correct the unaltered

The amazing future he dreamt about disappeared

So he got himself betrayed

Death appeared and whispered to his mind

“My friend, my friend, the world has an owner”, it said

It visited him on his bed

And shuttered the doors of the life he rented

I know this is very sad

And I am certain that you want to be helped

Trust me, THERE IS A GOD

Who can take off that load

Brethren, seek and you will find

That He is still God

This is the message beloved..
