In Remembrance⚰️
The reality of afterlife
Is what we refuse pay heed to
The fear of its nature
Feels more alarming than a rapture.
It’s a day, within the days we hate to hear
But runs within our minds and rouses our fear
Still we refuse to remember that, the day shall come
With open arms and multitude questions aboard.

It’s a reality we picture, clearly
Yet our to and fros choose to forget
If we shall depart our beds
And live with the sand we bath off
May our memories never play back the expected tape
While our eye is full of tears of the years we wasted
The life and all the dishes we tasted
Be of good course and not pull us in the face while we planned to rest in peace.
