THO’TS IN THE HEAD

Heavyweighted head
like mine
needs a soft time
to cool off the heat
from the heartbeat.
Day after day
Night after night
thoughts rumble
here and there
until relief says a goodbye.

Is there a person
who stresses his mind
like I do everyday?
Like earth will sink
and heaven will fall.
Sometimes, all I need is rest
but these thoughts keep evading
The last time I slept, peacefully
felt like that’s a myth
Again, I wish to experience that, again.
