CROSSROADS
by Poet Nazir
We’ve reached the crossroads
where everything began
Now it has ended like it never started
Paths diverge
and golden memories converge
Moments lost in time’s space
was what I called “forever”
Yet, only its echo lives.
Questions arise in silence
Flashbacking unforgettable memories
Heartbeats that once beat as one
now fade like the settling of the sun.
What was, is no more
For every door that closes another opens.
