A Moment Before We Apart a Poem By Poet Nazir

A Moment Before We Apart

Written By Poet Nazir

We have just a little time to talk

From the very soul that loved you

Spent decades hating you

As trivializing as I grew

You still held tight to me

Just a moment of misunderstanding, we went apart.

I pledged to never talk to you again

But I still feel you’ve got part of me with you

My heart is still in the mood of pain

Yet, I still feel you’re a person of value

When even memories were mobbed by the rain

I still feel your closeness coming in a queue.

I smile, knowing verily, the day we had for each other

Has been cursed and forced to never exist

As far as I could remember

Those days are gone and…

Maybe, shall never manifest.

Sometimes I wish to not smile

Because it reminds me of your affection

The nights at the club

And busy days praying for forgiveness

Insooth, your icy arms warms billions of stresses

That I shall miss.

Maybe, we aren’t just apart

A moment to heal the stinging wound

That it shall take time to heal

When all days goes around 7

And the clocks keeps ticking around 12

The line between us shall reunite, the world shall love again.
