Hardship
Hazardous life is real,
Ask me and others with this body stature,
Hunger is misery,
Its effect is well seen in our skin.
Am hungry and thirsty,
And this is just what you see,
I was born poorer than this,
My poor mum would tell this tale better.

If you look at me,
You might guess my age wrong,
Am past what you might think,
A true definition of a needy child.
A question to the rest of humanity,
Why did you forget the virtue of charity?
A program that initiated a lot of empathy,
We miss this authentic act of sympathy.
To those who embezzle funds at our expense,
Just to fulfil the urge of their belies,
Creating frowns to us the needy,
Hell might be your final destination.

Than when derived from the act of charity?
Help us the poor, we are the bridge to your salvation.
