How To Apologize Without Saying It

Most often we make mistakes and admitting them becomes very difficult. At times too, we get blinded by pride and arrogance that stops us from doing the right thing. On the other hand, shyness could overcome the need to seek forgiveness from people we’ve wronged. There are ways we can say sorry without saying anything. By doing this, we admit we’re wrong and seek forgiveness. Saying ‘sorry’ doesn’t always mean you’re wrong but you just need to make peace out and ease yourself from any emotional pains and distress. That’s the best way to handle it.

Via Notes/ Texts

You are in the best position to know whom you’ve wronged. You can easily settle your differences by drafting a note. When drafting such notes, it should be simple, reasonable, deep and short. You don’t need to quote and run about whatever brought about the fight or misunderstanding. Just go straight to the point by rephrasing your regression and apologize. It will cost ¢0.00. Drop the note at his/her favourite desk or place to be sure, the note will be seen and read. Also, it is most recommended that in case you choose to text via SMS or on any of the social media platforms, choose WhatsApp or better still, SMS will be very effective. Because it is offline, he or she will be able to view your message anytime and anywhere.

Be Close To The Person

Being close to people who are angry with you helps to ease down the tension. Whenever they look at you, the anger reduces. What if the anger is mean? Just stay out for some time and approach. While with the person, make close eye contact that directly proves you didn’t mean to do or say what you did or said. Stare and blink your eyes. Get closer to that person. Don’t panic that something bad or embarrassing will happen, chill, nothing will happen depending on who your partner or that fellow is. Just don’t prove you don’t care even while with that person. Speak most often with your eyes and body expressions.

Through Self Intended Actions

You can also choose to play about with their mind or attention. For example, you can call them on phone and pretend you were rather calling someone else. Don’t be too rigid or afraid. Let it look a bit funny and simple. Do this about 2-3 times conservatively. This will help to seal the gap between you gradually. Make it look real and engaging.

Don’t Look Too Comfortable Around That Person

Trust me, this will only stir up the fire than you think. If you allow the other person to see the happiness in you even after you’ve engaged in a fight, automatically states that you are 100% better off without him/her. Rather, look a little disturbed and concerned. Try to get your presence noticed if not draw his/her attention to whatever you are doing. Catch up their attention and show a bit of regression on your face. You can laugh to tease them but it should yield a positive result.
