Written Poem: The Journey – Poet Nazir

The Journey📷

I’ve been waiting for so long

For a person I doubt to ever see again

In the heart of where I once belong

I smell the smiles of nothing but pain.

To cast my mind rewind

I could only feel the beat of my heart in the wind

Rounding and calling the thunders to never fall

For a heart has been left to dwell on the side of the wall.

Even when I remain silent

With the tears fearing up my courage

The clocks ticks, tick tick tick

And a beeping sound telling how many hours I’ve being alone.

Silent! Silent! Be, be a man!

My other twin called up on me

Shouting and cheering my watery face to be broad

None a reason to make that happen.

I’ve lost my soulmate

I cease to be alive

It’s worth than calling me to live

Purposefully, I deject to be human.

It is better to move far away

Away from the scars I call a memory

For the deity I pledged to worship has left me without a word

Then, but the time walks rapidly, I must admit.

I’ve grown grey hairs

As part of my world, I thought that would last

Meanwhile, I waved the white flag

While still hoping to hear her voice before I finally go to rest.
